Superb live performance by American pianist Hampton Hawes recorded in 68 in Tokyo.
Surrounded by Isao Suzuki, George Otsuka, it's hard to imagine a more solid rhythm section, and the rest of the line-up has nothing to be ashamed of.
As usual, an incredible, natural and detailed sound recording, the great Japanese class of the 60s! Released only in Japan and never reissued since 76 on vinyl, it remains very difficult to get your hands on this exceptional recording.
